All Veterinary Surgeons are required to undertake CPD - Continuing Professional Development to maintain their skill and their knowledge.

The Advanced Practitioner status was introduced by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in Spring 2015. This requires Advanced Practitioners to attend or complete an average of 50 hours per annum, 2 days more than the standard requirement.
